I blog on what makes development easier, usually it’s software but today it is a remarkable film that you put on your laptop screen.
The problem is that my new laptop has a glossy screen; that’s fine for movies but useless for development work. In bright light all I can see is my reflection and as a result in the morning (my office faces East) I must have my curtains closed.
This anti-glare film works wonders and if the sun were ever to come out I think that I will now be able to work in the garden – live the dream!
Make sure you clean the screen first.
So impressed am I that I have ordered the same film for my Smartphone. I will update this post when I have got it and tested it.

The laptop film is great but the smartphone film is too frosty. It really does stop glare and would be great if you used your phone outside a lot but is really too frosty for me in everyday use.
