Last night’s AppCircus event at was a good show. Very professional and well curated. Unfortunately I missed the deadline to speak but Keyapt SMS is listed in their app database.
Some interesting apps were presented. The ones to watch are echoecho, a cross platform “find me” app and siine a semantically aware keyboard that changes to better support the content that you are trying to enter. Both these companies are VC funded. I think that siine is a profoundly important app.
Perhaps the most interesting to me was Foodzy, a calorie counting app because they actually have users who pay £ 10 per year to use it. They are achieving a 10% conversion ratio from the free to pay-for product.
