For many years WinDirStat has been my first port of call when I want to analyse disk use. However I have found that it runs very slowly and looks awful on my 4k monitor. A faster, prettier solution is TreeSize Free. This does most of what WinDirStat does and premium versions are available for commercial users or those who want additional features.
